Sam Cintron, Pastor of Worship Arts

Sam Cintron is an accomplished musician and fine artist. As a child he traveled with his family in the United States and Central America for years, writing and recording songs then performed by “The Cintrons” and other well known Christian recording artists. Sam ultimately settled in Jersey City and established what became a premiere art gallery in Jersey City first called “The Palatte” and subsequently called the “Sam Cintron Gallery” which he ran with Liz his wife for ten years.  Sam functioned as an art dealer and represented many world-renowned artists, establishing an elite clientele that included national television and movie celebrities, politicians, and entrepreneurs. Sam was called to ministry at Hope Center Tabernacle in 2000. Formally leaving the “art business,” Sam helped to found Hope Center Arts, a ministry that presently is impacting the world. He and his family have faithfully served alongside their senior pastors, Mario and Leigh Gonzalez, from the very beginning of his ministry. Sam now leads a team of approximately 70 artists putting on theatrical concerts, art exhibitions, theatrical productions, and other assorted events through both Hope Center Tabernacle, and Hope Center Arts. He is the art director and set designer for all productions, exhibitions and shows put on by either organization. He is married to Liz, and has three beautiful and immensely talented children, Sam, Jacque and Faith, all of which serve actively alongside their parents in ministry.

The church was then known as Samaritan Christian Assembly. It ultimately merged with Calvary Assembly of God in Jersey City to become what is now Hope Center Tabernacle. From the very beginning Donald headed the church’s evangelism efforts, knocking door to door from one housing project to another in the streets of Harlem, New York with pastor Mario by his side.
